Let's examine how learners want to demonstrate their learning, and how we can communicate that learning to universities and employers.  
Learning Objectives: 

• Examine what makes an assessment that inspires learners to demonstrate their learning  
• Create such an assessment  
• Examine tools that tell a more holistic story about learners than traditional transcripts 

This theatrical presentation will explore the journey to becoming lifelong, autonomous learners. Participants will be asked to play the different competencies that underpin self-determined learning. (Don't worry, no prior acting experience needed). As the tale of two learners unfolds--one with robust autonomy skills, and another with malnourished ones--we will witness the ways in which learners need support, space, and psychological safety to successfully grow towards higher levels of agency and autonomy.
